A new way to play video games
Dangleverse introduces a new way of playing video games using a puck or ball as the joystick.
No expensive specialized gear required. Use your existing Apple or Android devices and whatever puck or ball you already own.

Odd Man Rush is the premiere game in the Dangleverse app
Collect coins, gems, balloons, and slide rewards while avoiding the obstacles that come your way.
Each level includes many dozens of pattern configurations which help you learn and master complex moves.

All skill levels
Track the puck with an iPhone, iPad, or Android device
Place your iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet on a tripod or phone stand so that it overlooks your stick handling area.
Add our recommended stand to the game order above for the easiest way to get started.

Play on devices you already have
You can play Odd Man Rush on an Android phone or tablet, iPad, Apple TV streaming box, Mac (M1 chip or newer), Vision Pro or another iPhone. We recommend an Apple TV* for the most immersive big-screen setup.
* Apple TV is not a physical TV — it's a streaming box that connects to any TV to play shows, movies, games, and apps.
Any puck (or ball) on any surface

Electronic requirements
You'll need two compatible devices:
- iPhone, iPad, or Android phone/tablet for puck tracking
- Apple TV streaming box, Mac, Vision Pro, iPad, iPhone, or Android phone/tablet for gameplay screen
Most device models from the last few years are supported. The exact hardware and software requirements are:
- Tracking device:
- iPhone: iPhone 11 or newer running iOS 16+
- iPad: any iPad with A12X chip or newer running iOS 16+
- Android: flagship Android phone or tablet from 2021 or newer
- Gameplay device:
- Android: Android phone or tablet
- iPad: any iPad running iOS 16+
- Apple TV box: Apple TV 4K 1st-gen (2017) or newer running tvOS 16+
- Mac: Mac with M1 chip or newer running macOS 13.5+
- iPhone: any iPhone running iOS 16+
- Vision Pro: Vision Pro running visionOS 1.0+
The Apple TV streaming box provides the best big-screen Apple setup, but you can mirror your gameplay device to a TV or monitor, with some caveats:
- Do not mirror wirelessly as it will introduce unacceptable lag.
- Use an HDMI cable and an adapter that supports 4K at 60Hz.
- Make sure to turn on game mode on your TV to reduce lag.
FAQs
Do I need two devices?
Yes, at this time you need two devices: a phone or tablet to track the puck and another device to view/play the game.
Can I mix and match Apple and Android devices?
Yes, you can use an Android device for puck tracking and an Apple device as the gameplay device, or vice versa.
Can I wirelessly mirror my gameplay device to my TV?
No, the lag will make the game unplayable.
Can I use the Apple TV app on my smart TV?
No, when we reference Apple TV, we're referring to the Apple TV streaming box.
So how do I play on my TV?
You can connect your gameplay device to your TV via HDMI. Use an HDMI cable and an adapter that supports 4K at 60Hz. Also make sure to turn on your TV's "game mode" in order to reduce lag.
For the best TV experience, we recommend the Apple TV streaming box which is purpose-built to connect to your TV and can act as the Dangleverse gameplay device.

Seriously fun!
We’ve got the whole family around the TV everyone is having a blast! The tech worked straight out of the box, as advertised, up and running in minutes!
Best Video game for hockey families
Bought this for my hockey obsessed tyke level son for Christmas and it’s a huge hit! I think the hairs on my knees are starting to grow back from the reduction of mini stick time this game has caused! We have it hooked up to an Apple TV and an old disconnect iPhone 13, we use a green puck with white tiles and it works mint, little to no lag. The game itself is perfect for all ages of players my son actually has me beat for high score at the moment. Only complaint I have is that you can’t see each player’s high score just the score to beat on each level. Can’t wait to see what’s yet to come from this app for new games and levels!

01/27/2026Thanks for the feedback. We recently added profiles, so each of you can track your high scores independently. Hope you've been able to reclaim top score from your son! 😅
Simple to set up and great fun. Our four year old hockey star loves it
There is a Mac app....
I’ve used this purely on a Mac. Literally don’t listen to whoever is saying there isn’t. Little pricey, but personally I think it’s worth it. It’s pretty great for learning, was initially a little tough as someone who was using this as a brand new player though. (you don’t have to do all of the stuff, I sort of avoided the jumping things) Wish it worked for Androids, luckily I was able to convince my friend to let me use his iPhone

Great fun and excellent eyes up hockey training! Everyone loves it!
Kid loves it. We have a number of different training aids for stick handling but my 8 year old seems more excited about this one than the others. He's invited a couple friends over today to check it out!
Great stick handling app
Fun app that's easy to setup and use. All of my kids really enjoy it. Love that users have to keep their head up while stick handling
Fun
If they add minigames this would be amazing
We have only been able to play a few times so far, but our oldest LOVES it! He can't wait to have all his friends over for his upcoming birthday and play it with them. Not only does he love it, but we also love how it is helping him with keeping his head up while working on his stick handling. The game has just been launched so we can't wait to see what the future holds for it!
Dance Dance Revolution meets the ice!
Dangleverse is fun and unique! The game has a simple, retro, and eye-pleasing design with a cool variety of upbeat music to listen to as you play. The tutorial breaks up the game play into concise chunks while adding a little bit of humor along the way. There are multiple levels of play from rookies to all star players, making it suitable for all ages. It’s the Dance Dance Revolution of hockey! I can see Dangleverse serving as a go-to at parties and play dates. You can even play on the go using fingers instead of hockey equipment, opening a variety of ways to enjoy the game. I highly recommend Dangleverse!
Good premise, but needs work on in-game app features.
Ideas for future features and other things that would help: 1. Feed OCD engagement and “one more run” mentality”. Show the final score briefly. On an IPAD it’s really hard to see, both because of color and font size. Confetti? Balloons? 2. Include stats, averages, and score history. Daily, weekly, monthly, lifetime, 50 day rolling average score, etc. 3. Leaderboard and ladder race options. High score recording like 1980’s era coin-op games. 4. Different user profiles for father son competition. He’s obviously better than I am, but it’d be nice to see how much I’m closing the gap. Could tie stats to profiles. 5. Make a bigger fuss when a new record score is achieved. Currently just moves to the next run. Think of this as part of #1 above. 6. Points should be awarded for simply surviving - especially in harder modes. 7. Difficulty could also be based on track speed, not just quantity of items. How about a blend of both? 8. Tutorials / videos for technique improvement. 9. Lessons and assignment on skills (skills for toe drags, etc.) 10. More varied game modes ( I know you said they are coming). 11. In game collectibles, seasonal promos to keep you coming back? 12. Customization / appearance for your in game avatar? What about alternate handed stick holding? 13. VR options for this maybe? Looking forward to what this holds. Hope it’s not just a $50 cash grab.

Feels unfinished. There was promise of more games, but almost a year later there’s nothing. The “gameplay” gets boring quickly, which I feel is solvable, but it doesn’t seem like they are investing much time improving the game. Add new“worlds”, characters, combos, more visual differentiation as one progresses, etc

Good concept - sub par product
I really want to love this game and give it five stars but it just doesn’t deliver. It needs improvement in puck tracking and more diversity in games. Kids got bored with the single game and quickly fed up with the inconsistent tracking. Various games modes with better tracking would make this a hit.

A New Way to Play 🏒
Very cool game! Keeps the kids engaged, having fun, and practicing stick handling.
Nifty!!
This is really cool! Practice your stick handling in a more addictive way
Cool concept, too many issues for the price
Very cool concept, but it is laggy, rarely picks up jumps and slides, and too single dimensional for the $49.99 price tag. Disappointing because I would like to get it for my daughter to keep using but don't think it's fine tuned enough to keep her attention at that price tag. Will reconsider if it is cheaper.

09/04/2025Sorry you had some issue with lag. Reach out to support@dangleverse if you're still interested in playing. Likely we can fix the lag issues by tweaking camera placement and ensuring the puck/ball contrasts enough with the surface.
Odd Man Rush!
That’s really amazing! Fast react and no lag at all. Play with iPhone 14 and Apple TV on marble surface and Green Biscuit. FUNtastic!!!
Very useful Game ! But ;-)
This game is a game changer for young hockey players ! Thank you guys ! I would see two major « easy » improvement though: 1) having the possibility to practice specific obstacles repetitively. That would allow players to train much more effectively ! 2) having the possibility to increase the speed of the game to make it more difficult and/or increasing the density of obstacles and/or (less easy) adding new movements/obstacles. All the best !

Fun and Educational
Great for anyone looking to better their puck handling skills!
Give it a chance.
Was glitchy at the start. I suggest play on medium on puck tracking device, do not “over” stick handle and mark off the boundries on the floor when looking at puck tracking device to ensure you stay on playing ice. Finally got the hang of it the last 15 mins of free demo and purchased it. 5 year old and hubby love it!
AMAZING game helped my son so much!!
So much fun, my 4 year old son went from always stick handling with his head down to now having his head up on the ice within only a couple weeks of playing dangleverse! Puck control has improved so much as well, definitely we’ll worth the download.
Physical Hockey Game with Huge Potential
The idea for a hockey game that uses the physical world an a real hockey stick as input „device“ is amazing an actually works surprisingly well. Finally as a parent I can let the kids play a „video-game“ without bad conscious and the kids even improve their hockey skills at home while having fun. I hope the games get more and further elaborated in the near future. For the tracking there‘s still room for improvement. Sometimes it’s a bit laggy, which can prevent the next top score. overall a 5 for the idea and 3 for the technical implementation. Since the team is quite young and the game new, I put my hopes into regular updates and improvements. This has a huge potential to become a must have for every
Just what our son needed
Saw an ad on IG for this and thought it sounded a little too good to be true. So far it’s exceeded our expectations- our son (almost 12) LOVES playing and it’s gotten him practicing stick handling without feeling like it’s work. He begs to do it. It’s actually turned into a fun activity for thr whole family - we just rotate through and call “I’m next when you bonk”. I read the reviews and knew it might not be perfect but all in all the puck tracker works well and every once in a while you’ll get a little delay but sometimes that just means you’re “out of the square”. The setup was awesome - it even tells you how to use some books and a spatula to hold the phone which is what we did. We use two iPhones and cast one to the tv. Definitely worth the $50 investment. It will be the perfect activity for the whole team at away games and hotels etc. thank you!
Love the idea! Needs a few tweaks
My kids have started playing and they enjoy it but it can be frustrating with the lag sometimes. Jumping up and sliding don’t work that well I find. Do you have any suggestions to help with those issues?
Dangleverse replied
11/20/2025Sorry for the slow response. For jump you have to move the puck up away from you and for sliding the puck has to move back towards you. In each case, the movement has to be fairly quick and it can't have too much lateral movement. Feel free to reach out to us at support@dangleverse.com and we can chat more.

This is so cool and was easy to setup and learn. My one complaint is I couldn’t find pricing anywhere and when it finally came time to pay, it was $50 for one game. I paid it because my kid was really enjoying the demo and we had already set it up for him.

It works well; got their recommended stand and already have 4k ATV and 13Pro Max. Also already have HS tiles and Xenopucks/green biscuits. However the $50 out of app purchase for the single/simple game, with 30 minute demo timer was a bit manipulative. In the grand scheme of things $50 for hands practice is reasonable given the cost of the other pieces just named. By the game has no variety so $50 for it seems less reasonable than $50 for a pack of 3 or 4 games. Like a wack-a-mole etc that would build dexterity and muscle memory also.

New games not included
Just thought it’s worth making people aware that for $50USD, it will not include any future games - just the current one with a few updates. “We are currently working on some very exciting new levels/features within Old Man Rush. Probably within the next 1-2 months there will be a significant update with new levels, additional gameplay mechanics, groups/leaderboards, and more. You will get access to all these things with your purchase of Odd Man Rush. We will eventually make completely new games, but those are likely 6-12 months down the road. New games will likely not be included with your current purchase.”
Hockey
Best hockey app
Very basic- but excited for what it could be
As far as the review sits CURRENTLY- I’d give it 3 stars. But it’s potential (if it comes, gets 4 maybe5 stars) It’s glitchy unless hooked up to Ethernet on my brand new AppleTV -(which was irritating to be a necessity to hook up to a TV). However since purchased I have seen a noticeable improvement with my son’s stick handling and keeping his head up. However the problem sits that the game is VERY simple. It’s a continuous running level of a game. The only thing you can change is difficulty. I know it’s been mentioned several times, and I see that they are working on it- but every video game out there may have an “easy” level- but it’s a multi level course if that makes sense. My son gets tired of playing the game after only 10 minutes or so due to the simplicity. BUT from what I keep seeing, the company is working on updating the game to include multi levels, multi players, and other perks to keep the kids interested and playing- all while it’s included in the original $50 purchase. WhichIMO is awesome! The only thing I’d recommend is after seeing so much on social media and here- you should keep constant contact with your purchased customers and give them a loose timeline on when these things are coming down the line. From your responses the updates coming have been from 2-6 weeks but the responses were from 2-3 months ago. Just an update on what’s going on and when, would do wonders for your customers who may or may not be just ready to archive the app.

01/27/2026Thanks for your thorough review. We are a small team and working hard. Good things are coming. Re: update notifications, we haven't yet finalized and built our marketing email system, but we will soon. Once we can confidently store and track users' email preferences and opt-out requests we will then start sending out regular updates.
