Start playing in minutes

If you're a hockey player, you probably already have what you need. Here's the full list:

✅ Hockey stick + a puck or ball
✅ Two Apple or Android devices (one for tracking, one for the game)
✅ A table, desk or something to hold the tracking device

Use our recommended stand for true "plug-and-play" setup, or hack it with a spatula and some tape. 🤯 As long as you get the phone 36-48 inches (0.9-1.2 m) up off the ground, you'll be good to go! 👌

Tracking device cameras track the puck and allow for a large stick handling area, which means more range of motion and more fun. 💪

Play on devices you already have

You can play Odd Man Rush on an Android phone or tablet, iPad, Apple TV streaming box, Mac (M1 chip or newer), Vision Pro or another iPhone. For Apple households, we recommend an Apple TV* for the most immersive big-screen setup.

* Apple TV is not a physical TV — it's a streaming box that connects to any TV to play shows, movies, games, and apps.

Pucks and balls

You can use a regular puck, Xenopuck, Green Biscuit, or street/training balls. 🏒

Dangleverse supports all common playing surfaces

Play anywhere

Play on synthetic tiles, asphalt, concrete, or carpet... or even straight on your new hardwood floors! 😏

Regular pucks and Xenopucks work best with white synthetic ice tiles and white tape on your stick blade.

For kids, beer leaguers, or elite prospects... we've got a level for you. Dynamic difficulty levels make Dangleverse fun for everyone. 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

Electronic requirements

You'll need two compatible devices:

iPhone, iPad, or Android phone/tablet for puck tracking
Apple TV streaming box, Mac, Vision Pro, iPad, iPhone, or Android phone/tablet for gameplay screen

Most device models from the last few years are supported. The exact hardware and software requirements are:

Tracking device:
- iPhone: iPhone 11 or newer running iOS 16+
- iPad: any iPad with A12X chip or newer running iOS 16+
- Android: flagship Android phone or tablet from 2021 or newer
Gameplay device:
- Android: Android phone or tablet
- iPad: any iPad running iOS 16+
- Apple TV box: Apple TV 4K 1st-gen (2017) or newer running tvOS 16+
- Mac: Mac with M1 chip or newer running macOS 13.5+
- iPhone: any iPhone running iOS 16+
- Vision Pro: Vision Pro running visionOS 1.0+

The Apple TV streaming box provides the best big-screen Apple setup, but you can mirror your gameplay device to a TV or monitor, with some caveats:

Do not mirror wirelessly as it will introduce unacceptable lag.
Use an HDMI cable and an adapter that supports 4K at 60Hz.
Make sure to turn on game mode on your TV to reduce lag.
